Card Club Tonight

Hey there everyone! Card club is tonight! Meet at Red Mango in AF @ 8pm. I wish I could say I will see you there, but I won't be there, and neither will Camie. Kam has a game tonight and so that is where we will be! I hope you all get this message. and again I am so sorry that I haven't been more on top of this! Have fun, and I will send my cards.

For next month....do we want to do the pot luck thing like we did last year? Comment with your opinion ok? It might be fun to do the potluck thing in December too. Or will it be too crazy busy? What do you all think?

mix ice + 1 orange in blender= yummy

Evil Recipe Idea:
My mom sent me this peanut butter bars recipe from an enrichment night. I thought I would pass it on...

School Lunch Peanut butter bars
1 1/3 cubes softened marg
2 cups brown sugar
1 1/2 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter
3 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
3/4 tsp baking soda
1/3 tsp salt
Mix these ingredients wellAdd 1 1/2 cups flourStir in 3-4 cups rolled oatsSpread on sprayed jelly roll pan 1/4" thickBake @ 350 for 14 minutes (light brown, don't over cook) Let cool slightly, then spread 3 cups whipped peanut butter over topLet set in refrigerator for 30 minutes Fudge frosting1 cube marg, 3/4 cup milk, 1/2 cup cocoa: bring to boil in saucepan~boil 5 minutes,stirring constantly. In mixing bowl: 4 cups powder sugar, 2 tsp vanilla.Pour chocolate mixture into sugar and beat till smooth (may need to add some pwd sugar)Spread on cake while it's hot~it sets up very fast! For easy cutting, let cool in fridge 1 hour

Yes, this Thursday is card night. I am sorry....I have been on major overload and I haven't posted about it!
So this month is cards month, and whoever comments first gets to pick the meeting place. I have heard that 8:30 is too late...so do you want to meet at 8 instead?

Final plans for the swap this week....

We have had a little change in location. This past little while has been so wild and crazy for everyone that we decided to change the location,....here are the details...

Place: :Macaroni Grill in Provo
Time: 8:30 pm
What to bring.....your cards and/or recipe cards. Don't worry about making your dish that you are doing for your recipe cards anymore. We are going to take that stress off of everyone and just meet and have a grand time. I can't wait to see everyone! I feel like it has been a year or more since I have seen you all!

The final list I have is this (I haven't been able to get a response from a couple of people so I am assuming that they aren't doing it anymore :( .....

Looking ahead....remember that swap is the 3rd Thursday every month. Sept. and Nov. will be cards and Oct. and Dec. will be recipe swap. Maybe we can meet and bring our potluck in Oct. or Dec. (and really looking ahead....the 3rd Thursday in Dec. will be nuts so let's plan on doing that one on the 2nd Thursday...that will be Dec. 10th....sound ok?)
