Okay....So....

Disregard the prior post.  I talked to my sis and we decided to keep card club this week, on Thursday, the 15th.  We really feel like Celeste needs to be with us, or maybe it's vice verse :), before she goes in for surgery.  So we will meet at JCW's, in Lehi, for shakes.  If we don't want to stay there to eat and stuff we can always go to Thanksgiving point and sit on the grass or something.  So we will see you all on Thursday, at JCW's at 8:00 pm!

OK...here's the dilemma.  This week is our scheduled night for card club.  I have had 4 people say they couldn't meet so far.  Julie has offered her patio next Wednesday for us to meet then, but Celeste is having surgery on Thursday, so that's a bad night for her.  I really want us to meet before she goes in, and so does she, so any suggestions???

Hello my dearest friends! The 3rd Thursday is the 15th (next week!) - I REALLY hope we can swap that night. I am having surgery on the 22nd, and I really want to see you all!

Any ideas on where to go? I'm game for ice cream, or pie, or milkshakes...make your suggestion

Card/Recipe Swap for May...

OK my friends.  Here's the scoop...
We are going to meet at Kneaders in Lehi, on the 20th at 8pm.  We will swap cards and last months recipes...which are breakfast recipes.  Can't wait to see you all there!  I miss ya!

Where to go for card swap.

Hey there.  So I called The Chocolate and it's 20 bucks an hour to go there, plus what we order, which has to add up to at least 40 bucks.  I am thinking that maybe we should go somewhere else on the 20th.  Whatcha all think???  Where should we go?  Anyone want to go somewhere specific?

ReCommitment time!!!

OKAY...so I'm going to put this out there.  And I'm doing this out of courage...cause I don't want to offend anyone at all!  That is not the point of this post at all.  So here goes...I feel as though our group is falling apart...and it makes me sad.  I know we are all sooooo stinkin busy, believe me, I really do know.  But I feel like maybe the umph isn't there anymore for our group.  I think we have simplified it by meeting only every other month.  That will help everyone, but I am wanting everyone to WANT to do this, not feel like it is a burden.  I love you gals, and I love seeing you. 
I am asking everyone to pledge, recommit, whatever you want to call it, to our group.  It has been super hard to get any response on this blog, or my emails.  It gets so frustrating to me to try to reach each one of you to let you know what's going on.  It's starting to make this not fun for me, and I want it to be fun. I feel like this blog is our lifeline, since we don't all live close to each other, or chat on the phone all that much. So I guess what I am trying to say is this...This blog is our communication line from here on out.  I just don't have time to send emails and post on here, nor do any of us I think.  So please check the blog on a regular basis.  I know that not all of us are on our computers all that much, but please check this blog and comment.  My goals for this blog were mainly to bring us closer as a group of friends.  Not just for info on where we are meeting and all that stuff, but to share ideas, life stories, inspirations, vent our frustrations, giving or needing advice, etc.  I value what each one of you think, and I would love to "chat" on here with all of you!!!  I think we are an awesome group, and would love to continue building our friendships.  I know, corny, but true!!!

Also I know that there were a few of us that still wanted to do recipes.  So will you all comment on here and say what you want to swap...just cards or cards and recipes.
