March GNO!!

Hey everyone! Our next GNO is March 21st at Olive Garden in AF. We will meet at 8.
I'm excited to see everyone!!!

Gal's Night Out (GNO)/Card Club (CC)

Ok...so as it looks on the polls....we will meet on the third Monday of every other month. Except for this month...look below....and there are 8 gals trading cards. If you missed the polls...just comment on this post and vote there.

So this month the third Monday is a day off of school for our kids...so we will meet the fourth Monday this month.

Also on the side bar of our contributers....I don't know who voted and is still in. I want to get this updated so if anyone knows of anyone that is on the sidebar that isn't doing it anymore will you let me know? Thanks!

Also...Missie is posting events for our GNO/CC's. If you are not her friend on facebook...shame on you! HAHA. JK! But request to be her friend so you can see the events on facebook too. Sound good everyone????

OK...here's another bit of info....

Let's start off the new year right...should we.
Let's start a new poll or 2 on the sidebar.
One is a poll to see who's in or out on trading cards on Girl's Night Out.
The other is to see who wants to meet on the 3rd or 4th Monday of every other month.
The polls will be open until Jan. 4th

Which Monday?

Did you guys decide which Monday we will meet on at the last card exchange? If not, do people have a preference?

Still not sure how many for sure are in for swapping at our girl's night out. Will you please comment if you haven't already?
Also,,,,we are going to meet on Monday, November 29th, 8ish, at Brick Oven. Sound good? If you can't make it I would be happy to take your stuff there! I wish we could all make it!
It sounds like changing the night to Monday instead of Thursday will be good. So we can figure out which Monday to meet on when we meet on the 29th.

NEW BABY

Declan was born on Monday November 8th @ 4:35 p.m. He weighed 7 lb. 12 oz. We got to come home on Wednesday. Everything is going well.

A Proposal to Permanently Change our Date:

OK...so here's the deal. I know you are sick of my proposals but I have another one. Hopefully this will fix the problems with all of us getting together at the same time. There seems to be too many conflicts during the week, meaning Tuesday-Friday, to get as many gals as possible together. Since we only meet 6 times a year, I would love to have everyone be able to meet. So here's the proposal...how about we meet on a Monday night every other month??? I know it's family night, but it's only 6 times a year, and we could meet at 8 so it's a bit later. And there are rarely conflicts such as church meetings and callings, sports and games on Mondays.

Also,,,,would ya'll be ok if we change next week's night out to Monday, November 29th? We could go out to dinner, at Brick Oven, and have ourselves a little Christmas get together. Would that be ok? There are quite a few that can't make it next week.

I'm really not trying to be a pain in the you know what...I am just wanting to keep our group together, and add more if they want to join, and make sure everyone's happy!!

Girl's Night/Card Swap

Ok. So here we are exactly 2 weeks before our next night out!! YAY!!!
Let's meet at Brick Oven in Provo...is there another one? Not sure why I just typed "in Provo"..anyways....at 8:00. And it looks like the gals that want to continue swap cards still want the tags...so bring your tags! 3 for each gal that is swapping. It looks like so far there are 5 but I don't know if that's everyone that still wants to swap cards. (It seems like Christy and Celeste still wanted to, anyone else?) So I'm not sure what to tell you on numbers. Maybe more will post yes or no in the next week or so.
Anyways...see ya in a couple of weeks!!

How many?

Hello - I don't know the best way to get the word out about cards other than this blog....I feel like it's unfair for Tanya to kinda hold the whole thing together through.

I don't know about some of you, but I know that I feel sorta frustrated with the quantity....
Some weeks I make 13, like the list says -  but only end up trading 5-7. I don't mind a few extra cards, but the time and money it takes to make that many outweighs having that many extras.

I don't know how to solve it, or get commitments, or what we need to -- any ideas?

Card Club moved to next Thurs.

We moved Card club till next Thurs. There were some that couldn't come and some others that forgot and a few that were ready. So, we changed it till next Thursday!!! Hopefully more will be able to come. We look forward to seeing everyone then. Same place (Coldstone) at the same time (8:00)

New Boobs!

Hey guys -- just want you all to know that LOOVVVVEEE my new boobs! The surgery went really well and I am still recovering but it's going well! Love you all!

Okay....So....

Disregard the prior post.  I talked to my sis and we decided to keep card club this week, on Thursday, the 15th.  We really feel like Celeste needs to be with us, or maybe it's vice verse :), before she goes in for surgery.  So we will meet at JCW's, in Lehi, for shakes.  If we don't want to stay there to eat and stuff we can always go to Thanksgiving point and sit on the grass or something.  So we will see you all on Thursday, at JCW's at 8:00 pm!

OK...here's the dilemma.  This week is our scheduled night for card club.  I have had 4 people say they couldn't meet so far.  Julie has offered her patio next Wednesday for us to meet then, but Celeste is having surgery on Thursday, so that's a bad night for her.  I really want us to meet before she goes in, and so does she, so any suggestions???
